Becoming involved with this organization was undoubtedly one of the wisest decisions I have ever made. In this organization, Beth Gibson and other leaders work tirelessly to help provide people of all ages with Down Syndrome the opportunity to play tennis.  Volunteers, such as I, have the privilidge of helping them accompish this goal.

 

In my role as 'buddy', I help the athletes work through drills, improve their strokes and have fun while doing so. This gives me the opportunity to bond with my athlete, as well as the other buddies and athletes on the court. Clinics take place on saturday mornings for 90 minutes.

 

I am so grateful for this organization, it has had an immence impact on my life and my self. I encourage you to become involved, as there are numerous sites holding clinics.
