After 5 days of sleeping, eating and studying, I can now say that I have completed my first semester of college. I could not be happier with how it went. I would like to dedicate this blog post to reflecting on the events of the past few months.
I am very pleased with my involvement in the university thus far. I went into college with the intention of putting forth my best effort to meet new people and get involved. I have met so many amazing people in just my first semester. However, this involvement is going to continue to grow throughout my college career. I am excited to meet even more people and experience even greater things in future semesters.
I am looking forward to seeing how I develop professionally. I have already started taking advantage of the resources that the university has to offer and those resources have done some wonderful things. With Ohio State and the Fisher College of Business to help me, I see no ceiling in my future. I am currently investigating various industries and trying to decide exactly where I would like to end up. I see no limit and am excited to see where life takes me.
Academically, college is definitely more difficult. It is hard to explain exactly what I mean by that. In sum, the material is harder and there is more information to be responsible for. However, with that difficulty comes a challenge and I love a challenge. Working towards my undergraduate degree is a very cool feeling because I am working towards something very meaningful. Obtaining a BSBA from The Ohio State University will change my life forever, and that is no exaggeration. That is a very motivating thought. I worked very hard this semester and because of that I am even more proud of the fact that I have achieved a 3.93 GPA. I cannot wait for next semester because I am taking a few courses that I am interested in. These courses will also be very helpful to me as I continue to develop professionally.
All in all, the semester went great. I cannot imagine what the future has in store for me but I am excited to see.
